We offer a multidisciplinary approach to the management of Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis providing our patients with exceptional quality care and attention. IBDSA has a team of 9 gastroenterologists, 3 IBD nurses, 3 IBD-dedicated dietitians, 3 research staff and an IBD psychologist. The Hepatology service at Sunshine Coast University Hospital provides comprehensive hepatology services to the population of the Sunshine Coast (450,000). There is a busy inpatient service which is supported by a ward based ambulatory care centre where day case procedures are provided (paracentesis, albumin infusions etc). Outpatients are seen in clinics on the Sunshine Coast and Nambour campuses.
