
Julian Rong:
Julian Rong is the Clinical Lead in Gastroenterology for Latrobe Regional Health and Gippsland Gastroenterology. He is a general gastroenterologist with 15 years’ experience living and working in regional Victoria.
Julian was a founding co-chair of the Rural, Remote and Indigenous Network and continues to be actively involved in the Gut Centre Program and the RACP’s Gastroenterology Advanced Training Committee. He is an advocate for improving the mental health of healthcare professionals, particularly those working in rural and remote areas. He has contributed to the development of innovative care and training models that have led to meaningful change in rural health practices. He continues to serve on committees, including those in safety, risk and governance to improve equity of care in rural Australia.
