Chief Executive Officer of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA), Claire is a strategic and influential senior executive and non-executive board director with more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has deep expertise in strategic planning, operations, communications, and transformational leadership. Claire has a proven track record in delivering sustainable outcomes through innovative strategies and effective execution.

Respected for her authentic leadership, courage, and integrity, Claire is passionate about unlocking organisational potential, driving cultural change, and building and empowering high-performance teams. She has led the development and execution of successful organisational, division, and growth strategies, large-scale transformations, digital programs, and complex project portfolios. Her experience in the health and medical sector is characterised by the optimisation of clinical services and critical transformation programs that embed operational excellence.

Earlier in her career, Claire held leadership roles in KPMG’s national Health, Ageing, and Human Services practice where she was recognised for aligning purpose with performance and creating significant value for leading health organisations.

She also serves on the Board of Anglicare Victoria, and outside of work, is a mother of two and an active sportsperson.
