In this workshop, participants will develop an understanding of the basic principles and practice of colonoscopy and the latest equipment used, acquire the basic skills to perform safe, accurate total colonoscopy, and understand the provision of a colonoscopy service and the resources needed.
* The ‘National Endoscopy Training Initiative’ (NETI) was established by the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and Australian Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Association (AGEA) to enhance and coordinate colonoscopy training in Australia. NETI comprises a series of standardized national workshops, which are aimed at physician and surgeon colonoscopists and trainees, and cover the basic principles and practice of colonoscopy.
