
Xiaowen Liang
Xiaowen Liang is currently a UQ Development Fellow at The University of Queensland Diamantina Institute. She received the Dean’s Award for an outstanding Research High Degree Thesis after being awarded her UQ PhD degree in 2015. She now has a total of 4 book chapters and 30 peer-reviewed publications with 6 as first author and 9 as corresponding author. Her first or corresponding-authored papers are published in the top journals in the field of nanomedicine, including Nano Lett, ACS Nano, and Small. She has attracted over $770,000 in competitive funding as CIA including NHMRC New Investigator Project Grant, UQ Development Fellowship, and Global Connection Fund Priming Grant. The focus of her work is on the use of nanotechnologies to improve liver cancer outcomes and in managing drug toxicity.
