A/Prof Vicki Whitehall
A/Prof Whitehall has been investigating molecular aspects of colorectal cancer initiation and progression for the last 20 years. She is based at QIMR Berghofer in Brisbane and is the current GESA Senior Research Fellow. Her work with Prof Barbara Leggett has contributed to the recognition of sessile serrated adenomas as having malignant potential, has refined diagnostic and surveillance strategies and increased understanding of the molecular changes required for progression of these lesions to cancer.
