
Saleh Alabbas
Saleh completed his Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences at Bond University in 2012. He also completed his Master of Biotechnology (Adv) at University of Queensland in 2015. During this time, he investigated the role of innate lymphoid cells in autoimmune diseases at the University of Queensland Diamantina Institute. Since 2016, Saleh has been pursuing a PhD degree in Faculty of Medicine at University of Queensland. He is currently investigating the role of immunity and inflammation in models of liver injury and inflammatory bowel disease. His current research is carried out under the supervision of Dr. Iulia Oancea, Dr. Jakob Begun and Prof. Timothy Florin, at Mater Medical Research Institute. Saleh was a beneficiary of three competitive scholarships awarded by Saudi Arabia King Abdullah Scholarship Program, Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission and Ministry of Higher Education.
