Ross Graham, BSc(Hons) PhD CBiol MRSB

Ross is a Senior Lecturer in Molecular Genetics at Curtin University in Perth. His lab
currently hosts two PhD students, two Honours students and an undergraduate
research student, and uses a multi-disciplinary approach to investigate the
interaction of hepatic iron and lipid metabolism with particular emphasis on the
mechanism of development of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Ross was awarded
his PhD by the University of Western Australia in 1998, following which he undertook
postdoctoral research at Queen Mary, University of London. Upon returning to Perth,
he worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia, based at
Fremantle Hospital. In 2011, he was appointed as a Lecturer in Genetics at Curtin
University. In 2014, he was elected to the register of Chartered Biologists by the
Royal Society of Biology.
