
Dr Natalia Martin
Dr Natalia Martin obtained her Bachelor of Science (Biomedical, Hons I) at the University of Adelaide in 2010. Natalia was awarded her PhD in Molecular Biochemistry at the University of Adelaide, under the supervision of Associate Professor Daniel Peet, in 2018. Her PhD research investigated the role of HIF-1 and HIF-2 in the context of Multiple Myeloma disease. Natalia is currently a senior research officer in the IBD Research group at Canberra Hospital, which is led by Dr Claire O’Brien and Professor Paul Pavli. Natalia’s current research involves exploring host-microbe interactions in Crohn’s disease, as well as transcriptome analyses of monocytes from patients with Crohn’s disease and their siblings.
