Dr Jason Behary

Dr Jason Behary is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who works at St George Hospital in Sydney. Following completion of his training, Jason commenced a PhD at the Microbiome Research Centre (MRC), St George and Sutherland Hospital Clinical School, University of NSW under the supervision of A/Prof Amany Zekry and Prof Emad El-Omar. Jason’s research interests include understanding the role of the intestinal microbiome in liver cancer. His work is supported by scholarships from the University of NSW and the Translational Cancer Research Network (TCRN).
