
Anshuli Razdan
Anshuli completed Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from University of Pune, India and Master of Science in Biotechnology from Rajasthan University, India. She briefly worked as a lecturer after finishing her MSc, teaching Microbiology and Medical Biotechnology to undergraduate students. She then worked as a Junior Research Fellow for two-years at University of Jammu, India, working on the project titled, “Molecular approaches in understanding the aetiology in oesophageal carcinoma in Jammu”. Following the completion of this project, she moved to the UK to pursue a Master of Research in Cancer from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK. Anshuli is currently enrolled as a PhD candidate in School of Medicine, Western Sydney University and holds a WSU Faculty of Medicine Scholarship. She works at Ingham Institute under the supervision of A/Prof Kieran Scott, investigating the role of PLA2 enzymes in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and whether they could be used as potential targets in HCC and underlying mechanisms. So far, her contributions have led to 2 peer reviewed articles.
