
Alexandra Kane
Alexandra Kane is a full-time PhD student at the University of Queensland who is undertaking her studies with the Conjoint Gastroenterology Laboratory based at QIMR Berghofer Medical research Institute. The focus of Alexandra’s project is investigating the molecular changes that occur in a Braf mutant mouse model as murine serrated neoplasia progresses to malignancy, as well as chemoprevention strategies. Before undertaking her postgraduate studies, Alexandra completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Queensland and obtained a job as a scientist within the Chemical Pathology department of Pathology Queensland.
