GESA Gut School

GUT School, created by Australia's leading gastroenterologists, is a unique training course specifically designed for all advanced gastroenterology trainees.

Date: The end of the second week of November each year

Location: Royal Melbourne Hospital



This unique training course is designed to introduce new advanced trainees to the specialty of gastroenterology. It provides “hands on” practical endoscopy experience combined with an introduction to common gastroenterology clinical problems and an overview of GESA, the training program and career paths in the field of gastroenterology.

The course covers areas of the curriculum that are important but which are not always well-covered in everyday clinical practice at teaching hospitals.
