Refund Policy

The customer should be aware of GESA’s refund and cancellation policy before making a purchase from GESA. Upon finalising a purchase from GESA, the customer is taken to have read and accepted the GESA refund and cancellation policy, which can be found on all websites administrated by GESA.

 

Refunds

Requests for refunds will be assessed on a case by case basis. Payments will be refunded by the same method as presented, (i.e. credit card payments will be refunded to the same credit card).

 

Professional Development Registration Program Refunds

Requests for a refund of the registration fee must be made in writing by email to professionaldevelopment@gesa.org.au at least 7 calendar days before the day on which the event starts.

If applicable, you will be asked to return your original Registration Certificate prior to the refund being issued.

If approved, a full refund will be given and an administration fee of up to $50 may be charged.

Membership Fees

Requests for a refund of the Membership fee must be made in writing by email to memberservices@gesa.org.au within 14 days of the payment date. If approved, a full refund will be given and an administration fee up to $50 may be charged.

 

Advertising

Advertisers must give a minimum of 7 days notice prior to the Email Alert publication date to cancel advertising.  Requests for refund must be made in writing by email to execadmin@gesa.org.au.

Cancellations made less than 7 days from the scheduled date will be charged the full service fee.

If approved, a full refund will be given and an administration fee of up to $50 may be charged.

 

CCRTGE & Colonoscopy Recertification

Refunds are not available for CCRTGE & Colonoscopy Recertification payments.

GESA Printed Materials

Please email gesa@gesa.org.au for any requests for refunds. Refunds for GESA printed materials are not available once materials have been posted.

 

AGW Registrations

Requests for refunds for AGW registrations must be made in writing to agw@gesa.org.au within 30 days of the event. A $50 administration fee will apply.

 

AGW Abstract Submission

Requests for refunds for abstract submissions (including poster fees) will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Refunds are not given for unsuccessful submissions.

             

AGW Event Sponsorships

  • In the case of the cancellation of sponsorship, unless all sponsorship is resold GESA will reserve the right to retain monies received
  • In the case of the cancellation of a booth(s), unless the organisers are able to sell all the space they reserve the right to retain all monies received
