  • Senior Researcher

    Experienced non-clinical researchers working in gastrointestinal or liver research.

  • Advanced Trainee

    RACP or RACS advanced trainees in gastroenterology or gastrointestinal surgery.

  • EMCR Researcher

How to apply


Applying for GESA membership is straightforward. Before you begin, check your membership category and make sure you have the required documents and supporter details ready.

Step 1
Choose your membership category
Select the membership type which best reflects your current role, training stage or area of contribution.
Step 2
Complete your application
Nominate two GESA members as your proposer and seconder, then complete the online application form, including uploading your current CV and a professional headshot.
Step 3
Submit and finalise payment
Submit your application and pay your membership fee online. GESA will review your application and confirm the outcome.
